Other Courses
Basic Course
This is the first core course. It trains a new teacher to lovingly care for young children and manage them through the day. She learns the purpose and basic presentations of Exercises of Practical Life and Sensorial, ways to enrich vocabulary and number sense, and the child-centred foundations of the Montessori method.
Advanced Course
This is the third core course. It completes the sequence after Levels 1 and 2. Teachers study advanced language and arithmetic presentations, common difficulties in reading and writing, and step-by-step support strategies. The course also covers all four operations, key combinations, and guiding children from concrete materials to confident, abstract number work.
Kannada Kalisi
Kannada Kalisi is a specialised course for teaching Kannada to children of any age using Montessori principles. Teachers learn phonetic analysis, movable alphabet work and step-wise reading preparation, including Gunitakshara, Samyuktakshara, Ottakshara, Anunaasika, Arkavattu and Vatsruli, with clear, practical activities they can use easily in both Montessori and traditional classrooms every day.
Enrichment Packs
These are optional add-on packs that extend each level. They give extra presentations and variations in Exercises of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language and Arithmetic, helping teachers gain practice and confidence. For the diploma, learners also complete at least eight Enrichment Packs alongside the three core courses, deepening their understanding and classroom application.
Subject Core Streams
Subject Core courses are for those who want focused training in one area at a time. Separate tracks in Kannada, English, Math, Sensorial and Cultural work show step-by-step presentations and sequences. Completing each Subject Core gives a subject certificate; finishing all cores, with required Enrichment Packs, also leads to the full diploma.
By the end of this course, you will
Sustain longer, calmer work cycles and care for their environment.
Show refined movements (pouring, transferring, fastening, polishing) with accuracy and grace.
Use Sensorial extensions to classify, compare, and describe precisely.
Identify sounds, trace letters, build simple words, and enjoy rich oral language.
Match quantity to symbol, sequence numbers, and do first operations concretely.
