Ideal for parents and for students of Psychology, Education, Home Science and related electives who want a solid grounding in Montessori without necessarily working as full-time teachers. These certificates show that you have completed a structured Montessori foundation course with MontShala and IIMS, and are valuable for your CV, higher studies, and informed parenting.
Diploma Certificate
The MontShala Montessori Diploma (with certification from IIMS) is designed for those who want to work professionally: it can support your appointment as a preschool / early years teacher and help you establish or develop MontShala-style classrooms in your school.
Diploma learners are also eligible to attend a one-week practice session in April or May, as per the scheduled dates.

Who can join MontShala?
Anyone who wants to understand Montessori: whether you’re a teacher, parent, school leader, student, or simply curious.
Is the Kannada Core course free for government school teachers?
Government school teachers can access the course for free. To get started, please write to us or call us.
Do I need Montessori school experience?
No. MontShala is built for everyone from traditional classroom teachers to parents at home. Practical, simple, doable.
How many courses does MontShala have?
MontShala has 3 main levels, done in order:
- Level 1 – Basic
- Level 2 – Intermediate
- Level 3 – Advanced
You complete them one after the other, because each level builds on the previous one.
Optional add-ons:
- For each level, you can also choose Enrichment Packs (extra support + additional practice/resources). These are optional.
Two ways to learn (choose what suits you):
- Level Stream: Do Level 1 → Level 2 → Level 3 (step-by-step full pathway).
- Subject Core Stream: If you want to learn subject-wise, you can choose Subject Core courses instead of following the full level stream.
Kannada course:
- Kannada Kalisi is a separate course that teaches you how to teach Kannada effectively.
What age group does this cover?
We focus on foundation years (ages 3-6) and beyond; when curiosity, independence, and lifelong learning begin.
How is the pricing structured?
Each course has three packages:
Free Plan: (₹0) – 5 Videos + 5 Downloadable course notes
Standard Learning Plan: (₹4499 / $55) – All Videos + All Downloadable course notes + All Assignment quiz + All valuation notes + Certificate of completion
Premium Plan: (₹4999 / $60) – All videos + All downloadable course notes + All Assignment quiz + All valuation notes + 12 Live Practice Clinic + Course virtual community + Course upgradation + Certificate of completion + IIMS Certificate
Do I need to join all courses at once?
Not at all. You don’t need to join all the courses at once.
Start with Level 1 first.
Once you complete it, you can move on to Level 2, and then Level 3-step by step, at your pace.
How long do I have to finish?
You can finish at your own pace. Your course access is valid for 1 year from the date you join.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. The certificates are part of the Pro package for each course level you complete.
What is Practice Clinic?
The Practice Clinic is a live online space where you polish your real classroom skills. Instead of only watching videos, you present activities in front of me – work mat, napkin, oilcloth, pouring, tongs, etc. and we gently refine them together.
How can I obtain an IIMS Level Certificate?
- Complete all modules in the level
- Submit 1 assignment
- Submit 1 video
After successful submission, the Level Certificate will be issued.
How can I obtain the IIMS Diploma and IIMS Advanced Diploma Certificates?
To obtain the IIMS Diploma Certificate, the candidate must complete all three levels (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced courses). and 8 enrichment packs.
After receiving the IIMS Diploma Certificate, the candidate becomes eligible for hands-on practice at the MontShala Centre and school observation. Upon successful completion of these, the candidate is awarded the IIMS Advanced Diploma Certificate.
